Currently occupying 11th position, Abafana Bes'thende are three place below their opposition in the PSL standings ahead of the midweek clash.
Since returning from the mid-season break, Arrows have had two contrasting results, winning 2-0 away to the University of Pretoria and suffering a 1-0 home defeat at the hands of AmaZulu.
While the Lamontville club were victorious against the Brazilians earlier in the season, Musonda believes his side will have to work a lot harder to achieve the same result this time around.
"Sundowns have good quality and a good coach. I know Pitso. He knows the players that he works with. He plays players that work hard," the 35-year old told Backpage Txt.
"We also have a good coach (Manqoba Mngqithi). Our coach doesn't shout at players even when we lose. He looks after us like a father. This gives players confidence.
"Sundowns are playing well but I trust my teammates that we are going to win. We are desperate for the points. If we work hard, we will make it."
