Chiefs' 1-1 draw with Sundowns on Wednesday saw them leap-frogged into first by Pirates, and Stuart Baxter's men will be eager to get back to the position they have occupied for most of the season, with the Buccaneers not in action this week due to African Champions League commitments.

Ea Lla Koto recorded a resounding 3-0 win over Chippa United to extend their lead in fourth to three points over Maritzburg United, and Steve Komphela's side will certainly pose some problems for the Amakhosi.

The 59-year-old Baxter says he anticipates a tough tie against Komphela's men, who enter the match full of confidence after their midweek victory.

"I expect a difficult game, because they will be buoyed by their 3-0 win over Chippa United on Tuesday so it is difficult to know if they will come out here and be confident or be careful.

"I think what we got to do is to make sure we have a game plan that is clear for our players and implement that 100% and go for it," he said.

Neither side have any serious injury concerns ahead of the encounter.

The first round clash between the two sides ended in a goalless draw back in September.
