Mamelodi Sundowns confirmed they have completed the signing of Ghana centre-back Rashid Sumaila, who will join the Tshwane giants at the end of the current season.

The 20-year-old was recently invited to trials with the Brazilians, where he apparently did enough to convince coach Pitso Mosimane to hand him a professional contract.
The defender, who missed out on a place in the Black Stars' 23-man Africa Cup of Nations squad having initially been called up to the preliminary team, will stay with current Ghana Premier League side Ebusua Dwarfs until moving to Chloorkop in June when he can be registered.
The 1.96 metre tall centre-back joins Sundowns with plenty of hype, having picked up the Ghana Best Defender award in 2011, while he has played for his country at Under-20, Under-23 and the senior team.
