Maritzburg United have signed Nhlanhla Vilakazi on a pre-contract for the start of the 2013/14 season and he will officially join his new club at the beginning of July.

"Nhlanhla is the first signing for coach Middendorp as he looks to strengthen his squad for the new season," Maritzburg general manager Quintin Jettoo told the club's website.
"The current Ajax Cape Town attacking midfielder is known for his neat passing skills and tracking back when needed and the club is very excited to have secured the player's signature for the next three seasons.
"I would like to take this opportunity to thank the player and his representatives for their professionalism during the negotiation," Jettoo added.
The 25-year-old playmaker made his PSL debut back in 2006/ 07.
Vilakazi hails from Watville, Benoni, just outside of Johannesburg and has been on the books of Moroka Swallows juniors, Mamelodi Sundowns juniors, Golden Arrows and Ajax Cape Town.
