Phunya Sele Sele have been unable to live up to their Telkom Knockout title success, drawing against SuperSport United the following game before going down 1-0 to rivals Free State Stars last time out.

Those results have left Clinton Larsen's men ninth in the standings, although three points this weekend could take them as high as seventh.

Speaking ahead of the tie, midfielder Ruzaigh Gamildien told Backpage TXT: "I wouldn't call it a hangover (from the Telkom Knockout final), but both games (against SSU and FSS) were away and we are bad travelers. We have been unlucky but we are starting to pick up the points.

"Our next game is at home and we will definitely be going for the three points and hopefully against Black Leopards too."

The Dube Birds, meanwhile, have been well below the form that saw them finish as runners-up last season, with Zeca Marques having led the side to 12th in the standings after 14 Premiership matches.

The coach had offered his resignation to the Swallows board following their most recent outing, a 3-1 defeat to fellow strugglers SuperSport, although the tactician was given the final two games of 2012 in which to prove himself.
