Back to back defeats in the Absa Premiership make Saturday afternoon's clash with AmaZulu at Athlone a must-win game for Chippa United.

The Chilli Boys are in 15th position after defeats to Ajax Cape Town and University of Pretoria, while Usuthu are in 16th, having drawn three of their last four games.

Both teams are on 15 points, but with 10th placed Black Leopards just five points up the table, redemption is not far away.

Chippa United midfielder Larry Cohen, who has been influential over the last few weeks for the Cape side, points out that the clash with AmaZulu is worth more than just the three points on offer.

"It's a six pointer; a very big game for us. The boys are focused and it's a must-win game," he told Backpage TXT.

"In the last three or four games we've played well, I think we've played the best football we've ever played, especially the last game against Tuks.

"The confidence is high in the camp, I just think we've been unlucky and we need to take our chances.

"If we do that I think we'll see the positive results coming because the football has been good," Cohen said.

For AmaZulu coach Craig Rosslee, it will be the first return to the city of his birth since taking charge of the Durban side.

Rosslee is happy with the way his side have responded to his leadership in his short reign at the club and is hopeful this will see them turning the corner.

"What I'm happy about is that the guys have understood tactically what I'm looking to do and how I want to implement things.

"If they're disciplined and are following instructions and being flexible within the field of play, that's what I would like to see," Rosslee told his club's website.

The former Ajax boss is also pleased to see some of the side's midfield combinations taking shape.

He said: "I'm happy with Khulegani Madondo being back. The combination of him and Stanley (Kgatla) was fantastic, and against senior international players like (Wits') Nengomasha (Tinashe) and Pattison (Matthew) I thought we were fantastic in that situation."

Neither side have any suspensions for the game.
