Pitso Mosimane says he was glad to see his decision to start Katlego Mphela against Black Leopards pay dividends after the veteran handed Mamelodi Sundowns a 1-0 victory at the weekend.

Mosimane, who was appointed Johan Neeskens' successor earlier this month, picked up his first win as Brazilians coach as Mphela headed home the game's only goal to see off Lidoda Duvha.
The former Bafana Bafana tactician had started the striker ahead of Eleazar Rodgers and was delighted to see that gamble pay off.
"I am happy that Katlego is back. I took a risk by including him," Mosimane said after this weekend's win.
"I took out Eleazar Rodgers, who scored for me at Free State Stars in our last match away, to put Katlego in.
"It's good to have a little bit of competition, but I've always said that Katlego is quality. We all know the story of Mphela."
The result maintained Mosimane's unbeaten start to life in Chloorkop, having drawn 1-1 against Free State Stars last week, and the new coach is looking forward to a continued run as he hopes to hoist the team out of the bottom-half of the standings.
"It was a little difficult at the end. Black Leopards are a good team and they gave us trouble today," Mosimane said.
"We'll take one step at a time. The team is still nervous, but if you compare our last match against Free State Stars to this one, we have put together four or five passes.
"I am stabilising the team first. I wish I had more time with the team because I've only had three training sessions with them."
