The 23-year-old Ghanaian saw very little action under sacked Dutchman Johan Neeskens following his move from New Edubiase United and is hoping to revive his career now that Mosimane is at the helm.
The former Bafana Bafana coach takes charge of his first game for the Brazilians against Free State Stars on Wednesday evening and he will be expected to hit the ground running, despite Sundowns having won just two matches all season.
Baffour told Accra-based Joy FM: "The new coach I'm sure has a different philosophy to overturn things for the club, so I'm praying that I will fit into his style of play to revive my career.
"It has not been easy since coming here but I hope this is going to be the turning point of my career."
