AmaZulu have terminated the contract of head coach Roger Palmgren with immediate effect, the Durban club confirmed on Monday morning.

Usuthu have been well below their best this season and currently sit rock-bottom in the PSL standings following their 1-0 defeat to Free State Stars.
AmaZulu general manager Peter O'Connor revealed in a club statement: "We met with the coach (Palmgren) this morning (Monday) and advised him that his services have been terminated with immediate effect and informed the players and the technical team of what has happened.
"Fani Madida will be caretaker coach until we have announced the new coach which will hopefully be will soon."
Overall, Usuthu have collected nine points in 12 PSL matches and next face Black Leopards on 5 December.
