Matsatsantsa saw their Ziwa Mo adventure come to an end at the semi-finals as they slumped to a 1-0 defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday evening.

The result followed on from United's first PSL defeat of the season last weekend, with Gavin Hunt's men having gone down 2-1 to league leaders Kaizer Chiefs.

That result brought an end to SuperSport's unbeaten start to the camapign, although eight of their previous nine league matches had ended in draws, leaving the Pretoria giants with 11 points from their opening 10 matches.

Hunt feels it has been a case of missed chances for his side, saying: "We've been concerned about missing chances all season; we create many chances in every game but we haven't been able to take full advantage.

"We just have to keep going and keep working hard."

The Team of Choice, meanwhile, find themselves challenging near the summit, with Ernst Middendorp's men currently fourth in the standings with 19 points, five below Amakhosi.

Maritzburg are also one of the in-form teams at the moment, having won both of their two most recent outings which preceded the 1-1 draw against Chiefs at the end of October.
