The Urban Warriors have been woeful this season and currently sit 13th in the standings, one point above the relegation zone with 10 matches played.

The Cape outfit have also conceded the most goals in that time, with Sander Westerveld and his defence having let through no fewer than 17 in the Premiership.

Wits, meanwhile, find themselves in the right half of the table, with Antonio Lopez Habas's men sixth with 15 points, nine below leaders Kaizer Chiefs.

The Students did, however, suffer defeat to Platinum Stars last time out, marking their third league loss of the campaign.

On the team front, the Clever Boys will have to do without Matthew Pattison, who only just recently returned to training following a hamstring injury.

Aaron Mokoena and Mbulelo Mabizela, though, are both expected to return for the side, while Emile Baron is also back in training and could return between the sticks at the expense of 17-year-old stand-in goalkeeper Steven Hoffman.

Ajax, meanwhile, will hand a late fitness test to Bradley Grobler who is struggling with a knee injury, but Koen van de Laak is definitely out after suffering what appears to be a recurrence of the knee injury that required minor surgery last term.
