Punch Masenamela says last season's Nedbank Cup final defeat to SuperSport will not influence Sundowns' approach to their Telkom Knockout semi-final clash.

The Tshwane rivals meet at the Peter Mokaba Stadium over the weekend with kick-off scheduled for 8.15pm.
Masenamela's ability to deliver crosses from the left flank could be key for Sundowns, especially if he can pick out the lanky Eleazar Rodgers, who is overdue a few goals since joining the club from Santos.
For Masenamela, victory on Saturday is all about getting the Brazilians' season back on track, with neither the aforementioned revenge nor the game's status as a derby being a factor.
"We will focus on our own game and not even think about revenging the Nedbank Cup's defeat in the finals to Supersport late last year," he told Downs' website.
"We will be mainly focused on getting back to winning ways and improving our performance where we have fallen short."
Despite Downs' struggles this season, Masenamela remains hopeful that the side can soon turn the corner.
"We have to continue working hard and direct all our energies on the positives, in order to get the team out of where we currently are on the league table.
He added: "Its really sad to witness such a successful club go through this difficult time, but at the end of the day, its all part of the game.
"After such testing times, normally comes the light.
"We have a good team, and I believe we will come out of this, as we all share the same goal and vision."
