Downs remained bottom of the PSL standings having only managed a 1-1 draw against the University of Pretoria at the weekend.

It was the Brazilians' third draw of the Premiership campaign to go along with their six defeats and one win.

While the Tswane giants will clash with cross-town rivals SuperSport United in the semi-finals of the Telkom Knockout on Saturday, the cracks have more than shown in 2012/13.

Frustrated supporters have also been baying for Johan Neeskens' head since before his side's failure to progress in the MTN8.

Motsepe has surprisingly stuck by the Dutchman through the tough times when the business tycoon has been known to wield the axe at the blink of an eye.

When pressed recently as to whether their will be any upcoming changes at Chloorkop, the 50-year-old told Times Live: "I think it's inappropriate to talk to the media as the time is incorrect.

"My talking may send all sorts of messages to people who needs to focus on the team performance.

"And so I wouldn't want to say much except that we will be making announcements as we go forward, in relation to the team's performance.

"We are not where we are supposed to be as a team and that obviously is source of great concern to us.

"Lots of work needs to be done to change things and I can guarantee you that all of us at the club are working to change the current situation."

Downs resume their league obligations after this week's international break against fellow strugglers AmaZulu next Wednesday at Loftus Stadium.
