Rusike, who joined the Ikamva outfit as a teenager from Harare club CAPS United, is believed to be one of the players facing a two-year ban from the game, although the Zimbabwe Football Association are yet to confirm or deny those claims.

The Urban Warriors, however, appear to have the utmost faith in the 23-year-old, with CEO George Comitis reportedly revealing the club are looking to agree a new deal with the forward.

Rusike has already seen the Zimbabwe national team disbanded following the match-fixing claims.
