Majoro, who scored 15 goals for Amakhosi last season, despite finding himself third on the pecking order at the start of this term, has bounced back to claim his place in the team.
The former Amazulu ace took his goal tally to six in the PSL this campaign as he scored both goals in the Glamour Boys' 2-1 victory over SuperSport United 2-1 on Saturday.
Speaking to Football411 after the game, Baxter said: "Major was not in the team early in the season, but he showed great attitude nonetheless.
"It was a challenge for him that we left him out as Bernard Parker and Kingston Nkhatha were preferred ahead of him, but because he showed great attitude he fought for his place and he is now a real threat to the opposition. I'm very pleased for him."
Chiefs have so far scored 21 league goals in 10 matches - the most by a team in the top flight, while this weekend's result took the Soweto giants four points clear at the top of the standings.
Bernard Parker accounts for seven of Chiefs' goals this season, with Majoro on six and Nkhatha on four, while the rest have come from midfielders and defenders.
