The team from the North West are in third place and will be looking for their fifth straight Premiership win against a Wits side who are lying in sixth.

Long-time Dikwena servants Thuso Phala and Henrico Botes are currently in fine goal-scoring form for Stars.

With Robert Ng'ambi and Patrick Malokase also in the squad, quality in attack is not an issue for Dikwena right now.

If the team can play to coach Cavin Johnson's instructions, there could be more goals on the cards this weekend.

"We have momentum now and we believe that we should always win our home games. We will concentrate on putting our own plans in place and I know that if we do that, we can beat them," Johnson said.

"We will continue to play attacking football, I have been really pleased with the entertaining nature of our play in recent games and we want to put on a spectacle for the people of the North West province.

"Wits are a very tough team and they have been in good form of late as well."

The Students had a good result in midweek when they beat Moroka Swallows 2-0.

While they will be wary of their upcoming opponents, the Clever Boys will also fancy their chances of maximum points.

Wits' goalkeeper Jackson Mabokgwane will be up against his former employees and will no doubt be contributing some inside information ahead of the game.

"Platinum Stars are a dangerous and ambitions team. They have good wingers who are very fast and change the game at any minute," Mabokgwane is reported as saying on SuperSport.

"Prime example is Thuso Phala who has been doing well recently and has been called up for the national team to face Zambia next week.

"They want to compete and beat the best teams, I am sure they want all three points against us, but we are also an ambitious team who want to win the league title too."
