Jan Versleijen has slammed Ajax Cape Town for their amateurish behaviour that has seen him overlooked in favour of Jan Pruijn.

Versleijen was all set to be named the new Ajax boss but a disagreement in the board room stalled that decision, with Pruijn eventually handed the job on an interim basis.
There has been division among the owners with Pruijn valued for his knowledge of local football while it was also hoped that Versleijen would signal a new era for the under performing club.
An angry Versleijen told Voetbal International: "There seem to be problems within the two families who are on the Board, they do not agree with each other. Not so much about the appointment of me, but they use it as a pretext for a power struggle with each other.
"Frankly, it all sounds very amateurish. I would hear something on Friday to today (Monday) to get started. But the meeting at which they would take that decision has never happened."
