Moses joins up with Siwelele as cover for the injured Thabani Stemmer, whose 2012/13 campaign has come to end due to a ruptured Achilles tendon.

"We are proud to have signed such a talented goalkeeper. We believe he will add value to the club," Celtic technical director Mich D'Avray said in an official statement.

"We had a few goalkeepers down for the coaches to have a look at and they have chosen to go for Moses. We signed him as a cover, but as a club, we want him to fight for a place in the team.

"We want him to keep the other goalkeepers on their toes. We've made it very clear to him that he is not just coming here to relax.

"He must push as hard as he can for a place in the team. He is definitely not here to make up the numbers,

D'Avray also did not rule out the possibility of offering Moses a new contract upon the expiry of his current one.

"Anything is possible. But it will depend on how he does between now and the end of the season," he added.

"It will also depends on how the coaches see him, especially the goalkeepers coach Andre Bronkhorst; where he sees him in the perking order as far as the goalkeeping department is concerned."
