Talks between the two clubs have taken place in the past between the two clubs two years back, with word now coming from Holland that PSV are keen to forge ahead with a deal.

Junior coach Twan Scheepers is to recommend to the club's board that the two institutions link up.

"With this facility and with millions of South Africans that appreciate the club, Kaizer Chiefs is without a doubt up there with the best in the world," Scheepers said.

"Kaizer Chiefs is also well known in Holland and when we broke the news to the players that we will be playing against them I could see the excitement in the group.

"It is a great experience for them not only to visit the [Naturena] Village but the country. I saw players exchanging contacts, hugging after the game and making new friends.

"I am taking this to the board of the club [PSV] that in the near future we forge a partnership with Kaizer Chiefs. It is easy to see that the chairman [Kaizer Motaung] has a great vision for the club.

"I had an opportunity to meet football manager, Bobby Motaung back in 2010 to discuss the possibilities, exchange programmes, and so on. I am hopeful we can revive the talks," he added.
