Kalidou Koulibaly's agent feels there's no need to rush for a new contract with Napoli, but adds that several big clubs would "come knocking" on his door should the defender decide to leave.
The Senegalese international has been an ever-present member of the Napoli team that have given their fans real hope of winning the Scudetto again as they are currently top of Serie A.
Sadly the 24-year-old, who moved to Stadio San Paolo in 2014, was in the headlines last week after he was racially abused by Lazio fans during an away game. The Napoli fans showed their support to the defender by holding up pictures of his face during their game at Capri over the weekend.
Although Bruno Satin confirmed he is in negotiations with the Italian club, he says everyone it's too early to talk about signing a new deal.
"I often go to Castelvolturno, not just to talk and negotiate," he told Radio Crc. "The last time I went there was to see Kalidou’s son. Even though it’s early to talk about a renewal, the Neapolitans should be calm.
"I often speak with [sporting director Cristiano] Giuntoli, we’re in contact and not only for Koulibaly but also because while Napoli haven’t won the Scudetto, they’ll be in the Champions League next season and they need to build a strong team.
"The market dictates price, but Kalidou has quality and is young. All big clubs know my client, and could come knocking, that’s football."
